VANDAL WINE/NADA
Languedoc-roussillon, France
Raphaël Baissas de Chastenet considers winemaking an artfrom, he says he approaches it like a painter faces a blank canvas, composing the elements of nature like colour blocking and out of pure Feeling.
Raphaël took over a family vineyard 2014, leaving his previous job and settled down in Calce. His first vintage wasn’t an easy once, with the land fully over grown and hard terroir but his first vintage in 2014 turned out to be a great one! Using low intervention, Hand picking and no chemicals. Raphael wants his wines to be a true to the land as possible. No blending only one grape wines and indigenous yeast.
